The bodywork that you receive at LA Sports Massage is custom tailored to you and your needs. If you need to address a specific complaint or injury, your therapist will focus on that. If your need is for a more general full body session to help remove lactic acid buildup, the massage is directed that way. The therapists at LA Sports Massage have mastery in a broad variety of massage techniques, and we use these skills much as a builder would use different tools to meet the individual demands of the project. No matter which specific style of sports massage you choose, you know you’re getting a massage custom-built just for you.
Innovative SPORT Therapy® (Sports Performance Optimization & Recovery Technique)® is LA Sports Massage’s signature fusion of leading-edge massage techniques such as Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Facilitated Stretching, Sports-Specific Shiatsu and more.
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is a specialized form of manual, deep tissue massage that calms the central nervous system via muscles that have sustained soft tissue injury. It is considered to be a very effective non-surgical manual therapy for chronic pain, which may manifest as back and neck pain as well as shoulder, elbow or forearm pain.
We offer in-home IST massage services within the greater LA area. A minimum 1 hour massage is required for home service. Home service rates are $150 per hour, with travel fee of $40 in the near-West LA area, increasing for outlying areas. Discounts do not apply to in-home services.
Payment is due at time of service. Mastercard, Visa, Amex, Discovercard, and cash are accepted. We also accept LA Sports Massage gift certificates. We do not accept medical insurance or personal checks.
Session times include a total of 10 minutes of time for consultation and dressing, which occurs pre and post-service.
To avoid charges, please provide at least 24-hour notice for cancellations. The full price will be charged for late cancellations, no shows, and missed appointments. As a courtesy to everyone, please be prompt. Late arrivals can only be extended to the time remaining in their scheduled session.
I'm so happy with LA Sports Massage. My boyfriend has chronic pain from a shoulder injury and I've been taking him to my fancy Korean spas for his massages. But LA Sports Massage suits us much better. They are more able to address his injury, plus there is no language barrier, plus there is no spa fee to use amenities that we don't need any way. Also, the front desk lady is very welcoming and friendly. Thumbs up.
